If you want to reduce racism against blacks, don’t exhibit your disdain for whites. Doesn’t help your cause.
So Chicago Lightfoot is a racist and exhibited her disdain for whites when she used that term. Someone should tell her.

Two problems here. This is a perfect example of the fact that if HOAs don't enforce their regulations, they become unenforceable. If they don't want signage in the yards, they should have said so all along and not let people violate the rules.

Second, when you send out a message like this, don't tell people to remove their BLM signs. Just say as we move into this election cycle, be aware that as always, signs are only allowed ______. Any yard signage other than Real Estate signs will be removed and placed on the homeowner's doorstep. Thank you for your understanding, and please contact us if you have any questions.

Not so hard.

Check out Ladue V. Gillean. IIRC she won and got to keep the anti Viet Nam war sign up. It was in her window.

Exactly, well said, and no American should need an HOA to point that out.

President Trump should get the support he needs from Americans to end that hate group.

Well of COURSE she was racist in using that term, and there was a thread on that very thing. The contempt she feels for a pretty, smart, WHITE woman was obvious.

I don't get why people move to areas with HOA's and than complain about it. The reason you probably moved there to begin with was because it was a nice area. Reason, HOA rules.

You don't like it, move.

WRONG!
In many parts of the country nothing but HOA-burdened property has been built for years. Developers use HOAs to disenfranchise the homeowners by shifting control away from them and shifting financial liability onto them via the HOA. In many places the local government mandates HOAs for all new subdivisions.

It's not very informed to suggest people "choose" HOAs when it is very, very difficult to find non-HOA housing in many parts of the country. If they were so great membership wouldn't be involuntary.

She knows. That's why she choose those words.
