This person (OP) might be a Democrat politician as they are notorious for accusing their opposition of what they themselves are doing. The radical right is a much smaller contingency than the radicalized left.

We often talk about the extreme lefties but why don't we ever address the extreme right wing and their goals.

Seems to me that extremists on either side are dangerous.

And then we have the apolitical that really aren't left or right -- they just want to tear down the whole system.
I don't know anything about the extreme right personally. But if you're talking about the KKK, they have always been proponents of a white America without any people of color or Jews on American soil. Most people find this a stupid idea and that's why there aren't that many Klansmen out there.

I'm sure there's a few of the far right trolling about on this forum so hopefully they'll give you some better insight. The far left and the far right share a certain ignorance about their views, they don't hear anyone with opposing views to theirs and that's what makes them terrible people. Once forced to speak to the other side, typically they realize that they are jerks and calm down a bit.

Exactly! Could you guys over in left field cite a single example of an identifiable leader or member of the Ku Klux Klan, American Nazi Party or John Birch Society?

I'm sure there are a few, but you would have to do a lot more research to come up with them -- as opposed to when this poster was coming of age in the 1960's. At that time, the KKK was usually identified with an "imperial wizard" named Robert Shelton, the American Nazis with one George Lincoln Rockwell (died by violence a year or two later), and the Birchers with candy manufacturer Robert Welch.

None of these "rightist" leaders have a contemporary in the present day.

In 2003, author Paul Hendrickson published Sons of Mississippi,a retrospective built around a photo of seven Mississippi county sheriffs prominent within the opposition to the integration of the University of Mississippi spearheaded by James Meredith in 1962. Five of the seven had died after mediocre careers, and the two survivors were living out their days in obscurity.

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Sons_of_Mississippi

Behold the "invisible empire".

We're already at the end goal of the right wing. They currently control the both parties, the courts, all global economic institutions, the military, the police, and they own and control most media and sources of info. They will maintain this status quo indefinitely and the minor political squabbles bandied to and fro like on this forum are basically irrelevant to that fact.

That's a heck of a reach you have there. The question was when was the last time the KKK burned buildings.
You had to go back 25 years to find a nutjob that was not a member of the KKK who actually bombed the Murrah building in protest over Waco. It had nothing to do with race, and he wasn't anyone's hero.

LMAO....wake up, you've been played. Trump is crap but seriously....every major democrat that isn't black and female has been accused of hating minorities, being too white, hating women etc.

Obama has warned about the damage of identity politics.

For crying out loud, Bush 2....was called racist and grand wizard....he's BFF's with Michelle Obama. Hillary and Bill were both called racist in 2008 in the primaries....as well as all of her supporters.

So basically, if you supported Hillary in 2016 you're racist. If you supported Trump, you're racist.

Sorry to hear that you are racist, get some help.

That's not why Mcveigh did that. He was anti-government, not racist.
You should have taken a few moments and googled someone up that fit better.

There have been a few but basically, let's not argue generalities, here are the facts.

https://ucr.fbi.gov/hate-crime/2018/...es/table-9.xls

Latest statistics, whites actually committed roughly (or slightly lower) hate crimes than their population numbers.

But hmmmm Blacks committed about double their population %.

Now to be fair, there is the whole racism\poverty\higher crime rate thing so we should cut perhaps some slack there.

However, most of the imbalance comes from attacking what group? Yep....LGBT.

So tell you what. If you really want to cut down on hate crimes, stop putting up with gay bashing in your own community. Stop turning a deaf ear. Stop, just stop.

CNN ran an article this year about 40+ Trans black men killed in recent years. They were of course too chicken to connect the dots beyond the 1 guy that got caught (black pastor....shocker there.). You, me and the dog all know that the other 39 were almost all murdered by black people but yeah, CNN ran it with some sort of spin that it was a mystery....and probably related to Trump.

Again, Trump sucks, I'll be voting for Biden but J Christ...the utter arrogance of people who think that all that hate out there is a bunch of guys named Bubba with confederate flags flying from their truck is annoying.

But what is worse is people giving a pass to it when the perp isn't bubba.

All those are at home in the DNC.

What radical Right? The Left's definitions are ever shifting.

Moreover, the Extreme Left is supported by the media, academia, and are visiibly out en masse burning, rioting, and murdering cops and others. They run terrorist militias within most cities of any significance, and riot at the drop of a hat. In comparison, where is the radical right? At a rally once per year that serves as media fodder for the next two?

The contingent that voted for Trump, which is most of the Right, wants borders that are as airtight as possible going forward, and a stoppage to H1B undermining of their labor markets.

This is for two reasons: so that the Left can't import their revolution and so that they can make a living as working class citizens.

Last, they don't want to be targeted as "racist" when Blacks get themselves into never ending trouble with their high crime rates and behaviors. They already have to deal with out of control Black crime, being discriminated against in the workplace, and other great generosities that they are forced to give to the Black community on a day to day basis.

In response to those very reasonable demands of the Right that are essentially a desire for a normal social contract, the Left, supported by corporations, tries to reverse the election and do everything in their power to, in bad faith (which is a danger to democracy), take control of this term of the Right Wing President: through conspiracy theory, through impeachment designed to protect their candidate from his corruption, and with illegal race riots.

Again, where is the power of the 'Radical Right"? It is nowhere to be seen, and therefore asking what their endgame is is nonsensical. They aren't even in the game other than being able to vote, the returning message to them and the rest of the Right is: "your results are not valid".

So, give this Nation a break. The Extreme Left is the Power in this Nation and the only imminent danger to worry about.
