What this does to address any issue, I have zero idea. And please, none of this "oh, but it brings 'awareness' to our country" malarkey. I think our country has had enough and is fed up with these things already.
Organizers of a national workers strike say tens of thousands are set to walk off the job Monday in more than two dozen U.S. cities to protest systemic racism and economic inequality that has only worsened during the coronavirus pandemic.
Dubbed the “Strike for Black Lives,” labor unions, along with social and racial justice organizations from New York City to Los Angeles, will participate in a range of planned actions. Where work stoppages are not possible for a full day, participants will either picket during a lunch break or observe moments of silence to honor Black lives lost to police violence, organizers said.
Isn't it amazing, in this age of information, to see mass movements develop around ideas that are utterly false? You'd think people would be better informed than before but the opposite is true.
What racial inequality? This entire disaster was predicated on a lie - that police are targeting unarmed black men for murder, when the truth showed there were only 9 in all of last year.
If inequality means lower educational attainment, we are already lowering standards for blacks to allow admittance to colleges they would never be admitted to were they white.
If it means lack of job or monetary success, we’ve already learned from the Smithsonian that the traits that lead to it - working hard, being on time, respecting authority, speaking well, etc. - are “white traits.”
If it means being victimized by hate crimes, Jews are much more likely to be victims.
Yet, antisemitic acts are downplayed or denied by liberals, while claims of systemic racism are exaggerated.
If it means being looked down upon as inferior, I would agree that while it’s still imperative to judge people individually and that most blacks are law-abiding, decent people, BLM is driving racism by encouraging - and expressing themselves - rampant looting, arson, disgusting hate speech against whites and Jews, and otherwise behaving despicably.
Showing support for violent thugs who are openly destroying the Republic deserve 2 words.."your fired"...that way they'll have lots of free time to devote to being useful idiots...
