Yes we can say that. Because we swayed an election in Central America we should allow Russia to do that to us? No.

We interfered in Russia's civil war in 1918 by sending military units inside their border.
We interfered in
Russia's 1996 election.
We allegedly interfered in
Russia's 2011 election.
We
fostered a coup in Ukraine in 2014 influencing Putin to be more nuts as Ukraine is strategic economically and militarily for Russia.
We armed rebels and terrorists in Syria including ISIS in part to weaken Russia's influence in and naval base in Syria if pro-Russia Assad is removed. This happened before 2016.
We funded resistance that tried a coup in Belarus, a close Russian ally.
Some say that the US has interfered in foreign elections more than any country in world history...one historian counted
over 80 times that the US interfered in a foreign election since the end of WWII.
Does it not take two to Tango? At what point are we behaving like Russia in the name of Russia being bad?
What is wrong with looking at our own sins? If interfering with foreign elections is wrong, why is it okay for the US to do it continually and start coups?
Why is the goal good relations with Russia? They keep hacking our infrastructure.

I am pro-peace.
Having so much anti-Russian narratives (much of it proven fake or exaggerated) for years on end alongside ignoring our own poor actions in Russia's neighborhood could lead to a Cold War part two. In the Cold War we nearly went to nuclear war on multiple occasions.
Why does saying that some anti-Russian narratives were not true or that destabilizing Syria to be a thorn to Russia automatically make you state that I am pro-Russia when I am being pro-truth?
