When the Covid vaccine first comes out, I'm pretty certain there will be limited amounts available so assuming that it's entirely voluntary, who should get first priority to receive it (anyone in the priority groups would also have the option of rejecting the vaccine in this case).
Here's my stance:
1) Those who work in the health care field regardless of risk factor and age so they don't transmit it to their patients.
2) Essential workers who interact with the community over the age of 40 or who have risk factors.
3) Essential workers who interact with the community between the ages of 18-40
4) Anyone over the age of 60 or of any age with pre-existing conditions
5) Anyone between the ages of 40 and 60
6) Anyone between the ages of 20 and 40
7) Last priority should be those under 20 since kids and teens (unless they have pre-existing health conditions) are almost at zero risk of complications.
What are the pros and cons you see with this priority system?

It's a tough call but I would bump number 4 up to number 2, since that group accounts for a large portion of the mortality rate.
I don't think I want to be the first to receive the vaccine. I think I'll wait until they test it on human guinea pigs first. I am not anti vaccine as I take flu shots and I just took the second inoculation for the Shingles vaccine. However I just looked up the Shingrix reviews by patients and it is scary some of the side effects people with compromised immune systems are encountering.
If I had a compromised immune system I might take a pass on it initially until we get patient feedback.
