is it just me or do others feel weird since this covid has been happening?
It feels like a bad dream or something. yes I do get scared and I wear a mask.
just wondering how others have been feeling since this has been going on.

Pretty stressful time for us all. Life as we know it has essentially hit a pause. The virus is so widespread that they're saying 1 in 4 Americans has either had covid or knows someone who has.

But we'll get through this. Hang on there. Just keep wearing your mask

Other than irritated that school was out 2.5 months early and the stores are closing earlier and this mask crap I am fine. Nothing about my day to day things have changed.

I feel ****ed off. My job may be safe, but I have friends and family that have lost their jobs while politicians in congress use this manufactured crisis to pass trillions of dollars in government waste.

I'm okay as far as working. And outside of work, I isolate, spending most of my time far from people. So not a change for me.

But I know many who are struggling. Loneliness. Boredom. Financial worries for those who own(ed) small businesses. Still others, mostly young, who are growing to like being on the dole.

I worry a lot about people in those groups.

And it was unnecessary. At least in rural places, like mine.

I'm still angered that big box stores are/were okay, but small businesses are/were not.

There have been people of centenarian age saying things like, "This [public reaction] has never happened before." People that lived through storied wars.

Subtle layers of globalism and Fabian Socialism have been assembled over time. Aware people began tuning into what some refer to as too many coincidences--another way of saying that they are seeing corroboration of data about mind-bending, hellish undercurrents in contemporary society. Things people would have dismissed in the 1970s as John Birch stuff are seeing that's really happening now.

The internet made it possible to throw off the monopoly that their 5th column corporate propagandists had over the population. VigilantCitizen.com, and Amazing Polly (St. George), and Jason Goodman, and Alex Jones, and Roger Stone, and others have been able to communicate about events that would have still been ignored.

A president that was never in the club was elected. "He's an outsider, he's not them, he's not part of the club, he's uncontrollable, he hasn't been through the initiation rites, he didn't belong to the secret society. They have no idea how to relate to him." —Newt Gingrich speaking about Trump on Fox News. And the cabal of which Gingrich speaks is increasingly desperate to prevent him from winning again in November.

Read where Fauci sent NIAID money. Read how many injuries Bill Gates has said he expects from a vaccine he hopes to champion over a population.

I feel exactly the same, entertained even.

I live in a developing nation that responded better than NYC. I live in a country that is supposed to be looking to countries like the USA for guidance and instead saw what not to do.

The joke over here is If you have life insurance and want to commit suicide, go to the USA and do it, they will call it a Covid death and your policy will pay out. They actually said that as a joke on the news. I laughed.

I am amazed at how the democrats weaponized the Covid virus. They have no shame.

I am equally amazed at how poorly Trump reacted to a known threat.

A swarm of killer bees enter the house. Trump's response. Put a bowl of honey in the other room, maybe they will go there. LOL

The dems response? Annoy the bees maybe they will sting more republicans than democrats, it's worth a try.

If you want to feel less weird and less scared or anxious, stop watching all TV news. You will be surprised when you realize how much of a contribution that has made to your current state of discomfort.

I have numerous friends and family being economically wrecked by this nonsense. The media-political complex scorched earth campaign to get the Bad Orange Man is causing massive corollary damage to the civilian populace. Whole industries being destroyed, and way too many knuckleheads think it's just temporary and it will all be okay after some point.

I don't know anyone with covid, or anyone who knows anyone else who got covid, but I know lots of people being economically wrecked by this hysteria. I am angry, depressed, annoyed, frustrated, and generally sad...because all of this is based around election year nonsense inside the US, and garden variety dogpiling + schadenfreude from outside the US because the rest of the world gets off on our misery.

We are bending over and letting our economy and millions of lives be destroyed...because it's an election year. It's like a new degree of frsutration that needs a new word to describe it...that's how I feel.

And yeah, I wear the dumbass mask everywhere, and yeah, I purell every three seconds, and yeah, I wash my hands a bazillion times a day, and yeah, I social distance (because I hate people anyway)...but I do all that because Emperor DeWine has threatened to cage/kill/ruin me if I don't, and I respect how much power he has been granted. So here I sit, helpless, melancholy and powerless to help my family and friends from the infinite stupidity of the US cultural narrative.

Then there's this:

"A spokesman for Gov. Mike DeWine on Wednesday said that even though the governor ordered people to wear masks inside Franklin County’s public spaces, that order won’t be enforced against some of the state’s most public people inside the state’s most public building.

"DeWine Press Secretary Dan Tierney said the order won’t be enforced against lawmakers and members of their staffs inside the Statehouse."
