A new poll on race relations in the U.S. shows that a clear majority believe the country has a racism problem.

The poll, by The Wall Street Journal and NBC News, revealed that of the 900 registered voters who were asked, 56 percent agreed that American society is racist.

Time for the CD poll. I bet we are smarter than most of the public.

I have experienced racism firsthand but I voted "no" because it's not as racist as leftists are making it out to be right now. Otherwise, we Indians wouldn't be able to achieve the amount of success in America that we did.

If people were asked as recently as the year 2000, if a black person elected president would prove the U.S. wasn't a racist nation, I have no doubt that the majority would say yes. And we had such an election.

Twice.

Im not even a little surprised. 24/7 we are hammered by the media and told what to think.

Are we racist yes. We keep telling Blacks that they can't make it without big government to support them. I am proud that I never taught my son to depend on any government to make it. Instead he was taught to take ownership of his life and to drive his own future. I never tolerated excuses. Why? Well, because the world doesn't tolerate excuses. Look in the mirror and blame the idiot looking back at you for your own mistakes.

Yes we are racist. We make excuses for blatantly racist groups like BLM and La Raza, we have institutionalized racism and sexism in the form of Affirmative action. Yes we are racist.

The Democratic party is. Anybody that tells any black person that they are lesser because of white privilege is a racist. What a terrible thing to tell black people that white people have privilege because of the color of their skin. Tell that to your black friend if you are white. You would definitely sound like a racist and looking down at them because they are black.

It is also insulting. It insinuates that whites are successful only because they have white skin. Well when you grow up in an all white town and you also come from the poorest family in that town, there aren't any free passes for being white.

Racist-- compared to what? To a perfect society...yes. Compared to other countries? We have racism, but we are not a racist nation. People are risking everything to come here--from South America, Africa, India, China...everywhere. They walk across the desert, pay smugglers, stuff themselves into shipping containers, and many of them die. To come to a racist nation? Apparently they don't think so. They think America is a good place--worth risking everything for. Too bad our media, elites and woke citizenry think it's so awful.

Racism is ingrained in the society. But it is still one of the best nations to live in...
