Partially true, to say the least.

Just like the negative view people have of Japan and Japanese people?

No, China (the government, not the people) has definitely earned it's terrible reputation.

Japan is not a "threat" to the "white race" now.
If you pay enough attention, racist people are much more likely to be aggressive against China than non racist people.
Those who keep attacking China to an extreme degree are mostly racist people (Navarro, Pompeo, Bannon to name a few). This is NOT a coincidence.

Lol, so how come that has not happened on its own.

Because the globalist establishment leaders - both government and corporate - that we have had running our country over the last 30 years have gloried in signing us up to agreements that subjugate us to the whims of multinational organizations, and to kowtowing to China and the supposed riches that will come from accessing their consumer markets.

It is an experiment that I believe that many of these people conducted with relatively benign, albeit naive, intentions. However, this experiment has gone on long enough. It has run its course and it is time to shut it down and go a different direction. Which requires someone - in this case President Trump - to make the decisions that are required to make these changes. Thankfully, he is doing that. Barack Obama did not do it, in fact quite the opposite, and Hillary Clinton would not have done it, that is for certain.

Hey, China violated territorial agreement with India and started a fight that killed many on both sides. Many Indians now hate China. Those Indians are racists. China navy rammed Vietnamese fishing boat. Families of the victims hate the CCP. Those families are racists. China called Australia a piece of chewing gum under the shoes of China. Australia got angry at China for calling them that. Now Australia is racist. LOL

I don't know if the left learned the race card tactics from the CCP, or the CCP spies in America learned it from left. I can't tell one from another anymore.

In other news, the China virus has caused devastating economic impact worldwide. Oil rich Saudi Arabia is now asking their citizens to pay income tax.

By different people.
Racist people are more likely to attack China than attack Russia, other things being equal.

Marco Rubio is equally hostile to both Russia and China, and actually I don't consider him racist (based on other evidence).
