Sad how so many gullible people have fallen for this trap, and it is. Now, we've got to find a way to convince these pro athletes how bogus this "cause" actually is.

Given the mood in the country, I think you might be unpleasantly surprised by the turnout this year. This year is like no other, so the past is not necessarily prelude. People are motivated, and that includes younger Americans.

And I say unpleasantly here because they will not be voting for Trump.
Oh, I'll gladly take that bet.

Yes, all such activities must be run by me beforehand.

Participating in criminal activity generally doesn't add to societal cohesion, as you can see.

A peaceful protest does add to social cohesion. I’ve personally participated for decades with varying results. Blm protests are engaging young voters. I see it every day. I’ll be happy to text you before the next one to get your permission. Will you help make some signs?

It's Trump's fault. Cool.
^^^This reaction is not surprising. Trump can't handle the truth or a dose of his own medicine either.

No matter how many times you post it or say it, your thread title /OP remains inaccurate and its claim remains a lie.

This thread is an imitation of Trump's attempt to conflate gun and gang violence with the BLM and peaceful protests against police brutality and racial inequality. Trump's claims are false and his narrative is racist and Americans are rejecting it.

Because there's no real backlash, stigma or consequences for doing so anymore.

People who support BLM know very well what they actually stand for - ant-racism. What are you, racist or anti-racist?

Better, way better, than protesting with guns, burning down churches, lynching, driving trucks into a crowd of peaceful protesters. All lives are more important than property.

Edit to add the average black person on the street as well. Read up on how communism consumes its own i.e. Stalin, Mao, Lenin, Pol Pot...
So, there is a very popular restaurant in Lakeview who was always very busy. So my friend told me that they had Black Lives Matter painted on one of their windows.. it was pretty big, maybe 6 feet tall. so they had that sign there painted for a bout a month, finally my friend wrote them a letter about it, what BLM means, etc.. and they removed the sign coincidentally.

so this weekend, that street has the event going on where the sidewalks are closed on Broadway, so that restaurants can extend their seating to the street.. Well my friend tells me that that particular restaurant had hardly any business but the other restaurants had twice as much business.

so it appears that this one diner which ordinarily did excellent business, may have paid the price for their BLM support, even if the restaurant had the original meaning of that slogan - (that black people matter).

It's not hollow. It's racist and is destroying the black community.
