The Democrats are basically fighting to keep people unemployed as long as possible - to Election Day - by continuing to give them more money by refusing to work than going back to work. It is ridiculous to steal other people’s money to give low-skilled Walmart workers, McDonalds employees, and tens of millions of other people $50,000 a year - if only they promise to be non-productive.

Sure. You guys are comparing Ruth's Chris vs McDonalds. Most people go somewhere between the two.

Hmmmm.....Dems steal money and give $50K a year to Walmart workers...... No clue what you are talking about, but this bill is coming from the WH and the Senate, aka the Republican party, as have the other hand-outs. You need to learn to own the actions of your own party.

My thoughts on taxes aren't opinions. Based on how words are defined, taxes are armed theft, in letter and spirit. The word "tax" is used to make armed theft sound necessary and legitimate, but it's still armed theft by an aggressor who possesses greater power with force and violence than their victim. No different from a street mugger robbing you in an alley, just uses slightly different machinery and a lot different marketing. That's not an opinion, it's simply defining things according to their exact, simplest definition. What is the thing in and of itself?

Then I will stand down on this part of the question, even though by your admission I was right in calling it a gotcha question. I get why though, so I retract.

I expect there will be many more of these because the US likes to express it's freedom to completely ignore the scientists and engineers. Yay us.

And wonder who's going to get the lion's share. I can assure you it won't be everyday people who need it.
