For seniors like myself, the Republican approach to the pandemic up to this point has been very disappointing. They can sacrifice themselves 'for the economy', I am not volunteering to be their blood offering.

Same pollsters who had Trump losing the last election? I'm not going dem. I can't see it ever happening again the way they are behaving with their identity politics.

There are those who believe that nasty insults and baseless accusations will save Trump's bacon.

Alas, suburban women, college educated men, and aging citizens appear to be losing their enthusiasm for this.

Sometimes it takes a while, but I find that most people with half a clue eventually realize that DJT just spouts a stream of rubbish. I've watched even hardened Republicans come to know he's a buffoon. It's only logical that many people with an education would find him unworthy.

Hey, you were going to die anyway. What's the difference whether it's now or 15 years from now?

Indeed. He is still carrying on about that cognitive test being so difficult.

Here it is. Check it out for yourself.

The final questions that Trump claims are so difficult are literally where are you and what is the date.

If my choice is between Trump and poor Joe Biden who can't find his way from his bedroom to his bathroom without help I'll take Trump.

Exactly. Trump's Covid response has been an absolute disaster, and seniors don't like to be used as cannon fodder to reopen the economy. Trump has been so cavalier with the lives of seniors. They'll remember him and the other Republicans this November. BTW, I'm a senior and an AARP member. I'm voting straight Democrat. Trump is a disgrace.

White professionals with college degrees (which use to be a key base of the GOP) have been trending more Democratic even prior to Trump, however Trump has put the pedal to the medal in that trend.
