Yup. I’ve run into this on liberal-owned forums. They will delete every conservative post, made in rebuttal to a liberal post, so that eventually the posts are completely one-sided. Usually they end up banning conservative posters completely. I was banned from one because all the liberals were talking about the advantages of Bernie’s giveaway programs (insurance for illegals, student loan forgiveness, etc., etc., ) and I brought up the matter of COST. Zap! Post deleted. Answered a second post espousing the benefits of UBI, and I brought up the costs, and Zap! Banned.

So many liberals cannot defend their nonsensical positions, and thus liberal forum owners just ban any opposing opinions.

It is also why they often, if not always, resort to name calling, insults and personal attacks. They can not defend their positions with rational arguments, so that is what you get in response.

Effectively covering their ears and shouting "La-la-la-la-la-la". Children.

Just the way a child would respond when he can’t defend himself:

Child 1: Hey! You took my crayons without asking! Now I don’t have any!
Child 2: Oh yeah? Well.....uh......you’re a poo-poo head!

That was the only reason I would go there. It was entertainig seeing their "reporters" getting called out.

Now, what's the point?

Let me guess; democraticunderground?

They run a super tight ideological ship over there and they'll tombstone any non-stalwart in a NY second.

IRL, I try to avoid engaging in politics with leftists, but sometimes they bring it up - angrily - to challenge me, and then I must engage. (Ann Coulter has a book entitled, “How to Speak with a Liberal....if You Must.”) I find that a debut them with a sentence or two of facts, and in doing so expose them for their ignorance, and they always retreat.
