I see it in my own neighborhood. I want to tell these people, "I'm sure that your black neighbors appreciate your fine support. Or they would, if you had any black neighbors." But if I did that they would probably call the police.
It's a cultural thing among progressive whites. I have family members who live in a heavily progressive big city who live like this. Upscale neighborhood where everyone has BLM signs, "Hate Has No Home Here" signs, Bernie signs(but no Biden signs). They are all highly social and get together for vegan barbecues often where the major topic of discussion is politics. Very progressive politics. If you don't have the signs you are not part of the club, and if you don't share their views there's not really any place for you at their gatherings because there is very little else they'll talk about for long. During the day they get together at local cafes and talk about progressive politics while sipping lattes. Politics really consumes their lives. Often even their jobs will involve progressive causes in some way.
How many non-white people are there usually at these barbecues? I'm guessing.....none?
There are a few. It's a majority black city and even the good neighborhoods are partially diverse. Much less diverse than the lower class neighborhoods of course.
Wonder what they'd do if a Section 8 family moved next door and started blasting gangster rap at 2 a.m., hanging out in the yard in pants below buttocks and had many "guests" drive up at all hours.
I had bourgeois guilt once upon a (long ago) time. 14 years doing vol work in bad sections wore it away.
I have an around the block neighbor who put a similar sign up in front of their fancy, beautiful old historic home; in the course of a convo they (retired couple) told me they did it so if these idiots came along throwing rocks "or worse" they'd skip their house.
They think they are Virtue Signaling how Woke they are to ward off any reprisals for being White. Yet they are actually supporting a violent, Marxist Terror Group that just wants to take their stuff.
