At the end of the day she violated the UCMJ. WE defend the constitution but don't enjoy all the freedoms it provides. If you can't deal with that then don't join.

Because stickers will lead to the downfall of our republic.
Let me guess. You have never served a day in the military, right?

Years ago. My wife and I were watching Full Metal jacket. Old Ernie was tearing azz. My wife suddenly proclaimed "I would quit." LOL I said you aren't allowed to just quit. You just have to learn to take it and adapt.

Whenever I read a post by non-vet proclaiming support for an alleged soldier, sailor, airman or Marine violating the UCMJ it reminds of my wife. "I would quit." In her innocence and naivety she simply assumed military folks could just walk away. No harm no foul. She just didn't know.

I have dealt with non-vets trying to tell me how it really is or what soldiers could or should do.. usually college grads who never served a day. They are amusing if misinformed.

Remember, college grads are subject matter expert in military issues after History 101 and a field trip to a military museum.

LOL so true. I had a plant manager tell me and a room full of vets that the company wasn't like the military. The military treats its personnel like children. Us vets just looked at each other. This was Diversity 2, and already the leadership was disrespecting an entire group.

It turned into a lively debate filled with a lot of "Oh I didn't know thats."

I didn't career as you did, but I loved the military and what the Navy did for me. I 100% feel that I owe most my successes in life to my Navy training.

And she's been formally disciplined via non-judicial punishment (NJP).

Quote:
A uniformed petty officer caught on camera screaming “**** Trump!” to a group of the president’s supporters this summer has received non-judicial punishment, officials confirmed this week.

But the nature of disciplinary action taken against Aviation Boatswain’s Mate (Launch/Recovery) 2nd Class Sarah J. Dudrey remains unclear.

Video of Dudrey getting out of a car and confronting a group of flag-waving Trump supporters near the Ventura County Government Center in July led to a command inquiry into the sailor, who was stationed at Naval Base Ventura County, California, about a 15-minute drive from the site of the dust-up.

Dudrey “went to NJP but we’re not going to speak to the specifics of the disposition,” base spokeswoman Melinda Larson told Navy Times.

Honestly, she probably just got a slap on the wrist, but better than nothing. She has been shamed and her career is probably over in terms of advancements that actually go to board (E-7 and above).

If I lose an election spout like a baby and lock my self indoors while country is facing a growing pandemic..should my followers have any fake moral ground to critisize a serving member of the armed forces?

This is simply their way of processing their grief. Don’t be too harsh on them. They will come to understand why Biden is the right person for this moment in our nation’s history. We must show compassion.
