Is this just a government test worldwide to see how much they can terrify and control us?
How did you produce the faux number above?

It is pretty simple... there have been many scientific studies rather than MSM hysteria that put the infection rate at 80 times what we know.

Using the established death rate, which is probably puffed up anyway, we come out to well less than 1%.

Seems like the only one being "selfish" is you.

This is a joke right? I can't work, I can't travel, there are limited supplies, stocks / savings rates are in the toilet...

Must I go on?

If I am not suffering they surely be locked in their homes 24-7.

1%. It sounds so small. We should just ignore it, right?
That's 3 million people in America. 70 billion, worldwide.

What if 3 million people had been killed on 9/11? Or 70 billion died from Ebola? What would we be saying?

Sorry, OP, if it is all an inconvenience to you.
Wear your mask, wash your hands, keep your distance.

I have no idea of what the real numbers are, but I also do not know anyone who has knowingly gotten COVID-19. That fact leaves ample room for skepticism. We all need to be cautious and follow reasonable guidelines but that does not mean being holed up in your house as if the world is coming to an end.

Defeated by a simple thin mask... so much for rugged individualism... so much for actually caring about fellow Americans..

I'm in an area that got hit hard in the pandemic... less than 30 miles from NYC.

None of this was true for us... in fact, everyone (I could see daily) followed guidelines and we were never on lockdown and businesses remained open to limited extent... now even more open with less restrictions.

No one... was locked in their home for 24 -7.

While I agree some of that is out of your control, you could have traveled, you could have left the home, there was no real shortage of supplies, you could have had proper financial safety net. Don't know what you are invested in but my stocks are still up from last year.... DJI about the same as it was last year. In fact, the scary part is that stocks are actually TO HIGH to reflect the realities of what is gong on... so I'm now even questioning if being in stocks is a load of B.S.
