keep it to healthy people under 60 and the death rate is like 0.000001%

why is our whole life changed and things are shut down and people's livelihoods is sacrificed to something that's barely more than a common cold?

Is this just a government test worldwide to see how much they can terrify and control us?

I'm baffled by this

common sense would tell you something that's only harmful to people with health problems over 70s, then these restrictions and recommendations would only apply to those people with health problems over 70s

why are healthy 20 and 30 year olds not allowed to go to balllgames? You have a much better chance of dying from a car crash to the ballgame than you do of dying from covid

We don't quite know the mortality rate but it will likely end up between 1-2%. We had 1,000 more deaths yesterday and over 70,000 new infections and hospitals around the country are overwhelmed, but I guess in your mind its not that bad. Some live in a separate universe where the pandemic is about world wide control.

1-2% my ******* ass

there are tons and tons and tons and tons and tons of people with mild symptoms or no symptoms who never tested. The real number is going to end up being between 0.1 to 0.5%, probably around 0.26%

and again, take out overweight unhealthy people over 60, the number dips to like 0.000001%...so why can't I do any of the things I love again?

This has been ongoing since December.

You seriously think that the death rate is unknown???

Just because the media claims hospitals are overwhelmed doesn't mean they are. Hospitals are a for-profit business. If they are below 85% capacity they are losing money.

With the new reporting system the numbers have dropped drastically. Hospitals were basically claiming corona when it really wasn't just for the money.

We do know the mortality rate. It's around .1%.

Please turn off ABC news.

and even the 0.1% is extremely misleading

vast majority of those deaths are people in their 60s, 70s, 80s and 90s with multiple serious health problems. Let's be honest here, it was only a matter of time until they died. Maybe it's covid this year, maybe it's a flu next year

and the media wants to act like it's the bubonic plague

New World Order, globalist (Socialist) governments were getting push back. See the election of Trump and Brexit as just two examples. That could not be tolerated. Yes, I would have called that Tinfoil Hat material a few short years ago. No longer.
