Well, now we have Canada closing it's border to Americans, telling us our diseased population is not welcome there. Or anywhere else in the world, for that matter. Think about that. America has literally become the world's pariah due to the current occupant of the WH and his insane followers. The borders are closed to us around the world. Oh, how far this country has fallen in four short years.
It was expected. This is what happens every time a republican is elected president.

I don't know how much difference the initial death total would be if Trump had allowed the medical experts to set the strategy. It was what it was initially. They knew little about the virus and were adapting as they learned more and more about it.
I do think that the surge in June in so many states cam directly from a mismanagement of the federal govt. and dismissing the virus as a concern too soon.
Trump was bored, he wanted & needed the economy to 'bounce back', people to get back to regular life, etc.....and the wave in June wasn't helping him in that regard.
