Florida is fairing better than most other states

Yep - because it's just getting started there. Don't kid yourself. All population centers are going to end up with the same amount (roughly, percentage) of dead people, slightly less owing to improved treatments as we go on.

Chicago is done - 10 million people 5000 dead, almost no new deaths daily now.

Florida is just getting started - 20 million people, 6000 dead. If you think some magical power or unknown cure-all or lucky mutation will change their destiny - unlikely. All the masks and distancing in the world will ONLY do exactly what it's designed to do - change the date.

While Florida's daily death count has had some rough edges lately, the "sick count" - like nearly everywhere - is likely UNDERcounted by factor of 5 - which is closer than many states - but still so wrong as to make this bickering over counts here or there totally silly.

nope, just checked again...

right now the official number of deaths for 7/22 stands at 68...and that can change again as more back reports come in

...still not 173

Yeah, we've lost control of it so much that testing is being delayed. They made enough test items, but the labs to support fast turnaround just arent there. Which again-is a failure to lead by our government. 20 days is insane though.

And yet the "Testing Czar" stated that testing was fine on a CNN interview with Jake Tapper this year. Testing is fine my ass. I see it in Arizona too.

DeSantis is chaotic obviously. Time to get a Democrat in office and restore order.

I don't care what party the governor to replace DeSantass in Florida or Ducebag in Arizona, just someone competent.

Too meek to face reality, the Trump-base relies on their own candy-coated version of the world. By the time they wake up, it will be too late, sadly too late for all of us. Much like the mask deniers, their inability to accept reality will have consequences for all of us.
I don’t know if his source is generally a fake news site, but what he says is generally true. The data in Florida is horrible. The labs and hospitals have totally screwed the pooch. The data is pretty much unreliable. It could be better or worse than they are saying. No one knows for sure.

Lol, like Andrew use crack Gillum? Lol. He is known to be dirty even by many liberal in the state. Desantis has done some things that I would say are not the best, but if I look at the Democrat leaders of NY, NJ, and California, I will take my chances with Desantis.

"Countless labs have reported a 100 percent positivity rate, which means every single person tested was positive. Other labs had very high positivity rates. FOX 35 News found that testing sites like one local Centra Care reported that 83 people were tested and all tested positive. Then, NCF Diagnostics in Alachua reported 88 percent of tests were positive."

"The report showed that Orlando Health had a 98 percent positivity rate. However, when FOX 35 News contacted the hospital, they confirmed errors in the report. Orlando Health's positivity rate is only 9.4 percent, not 98 percent as in the report."

"The report also showed that the Orlando Veteran’s Medical Center had a positivity rate of 76 percent. A spokesperson for the VA told FOX 35 News on Tuesday that this does not reflect their numbers and that the positivity rate for the center is actually 6 percent."

New screen name?
You cannot refute the facts posted so throw out an insult and opinion. Typical.
