It’s called someone who has the misfortune of developing a mental illness early in life, someone who is not one of those poster people who climbs the tallest mountains and crosses the widest seas. Just a person with limited intelligence and not quite reliable when it comes being self sufficient because of their ongoing mental status.

Nope. I don’t want to force anyone to do anything. They can spend their own money however they see fit. But if they are going to spend my money, that’s a different story.

Yes. Many do. An incredibly large number of extremely poor people have physical and mental problems. You would not them to be your nurse.
We are not talking about able-bodied people here. That’s just a big lie. The able bodied people are mostly working, going to school, raising kids, taking care of other family members, etc. Americans want to eliminate the mentally ill and sick. It’s always been that way in every community. In every community, the poorest are mentally unstable and physically weaker.

Everyone does something to someone else. No one is above it.
Nobody excepts being forced into assimilation. A certain type of people don’t seem to get it.
The people you speak of are not here to be your friend. They do not like you, your lifestyle, your desires or values in life. They are the exact opposite of you, so your need to force them to be like you will never work out it the real world. Everything is a matter of choice vs force. People will never except being forced and will always be divided because of choice vs force.
Which one of the following is not a personal choice?
Not one single able-bodied person stays poor if he or she does the following:
1. Obey the law.
2. Don’t drink or do drugs.
3. Don’t have children they can’t afford and don’t have children without marriage.
4. Focus on education.
5. Do what’s told at work.
6. Live below your means.
