Anybody that refuses to work because they are afraid to get Covid should be denied UI. I work in healthcare. Maybe I should deny people care because they have covid. Or maybe all the cops and firefighter or other essential workers should all stay home. Put a mask on and go to work.

2k (at job, approx.) or 2.4k monthly (furloughed, approx.)....@ 40 hours weekly, paid bi-weekly......

I wonder why they won't go back to work?
Paid too low, that's why. 600$ a week isn't even that great to begin with, and the bosses can't figure out why they can't continue to exploit their employees!? It shows what a sad state of affairs workers face in modern US.

I agree with you to a certain extent, other than the few pizza place jobs while still in or after graduating high school, my son got this job at 19.

He deals with multi-million $ ACFT daily, he has no college degree, straight out of high school.....

Other then helping him with his resume, I had nothing else to do with him being hired (other than my wife and myself raising him like a child should be raised).

Are you only being paid $7.25 an hour to take those risks?

Exactly. Like these politicians, they’re missing the obvious point. People want to work, they just want to be paid enough to live.

How many dead people will you accept to reopen the economy? Give me an exact number and 0 isn't realistic.

Or, you know, pay them enough to live while working. Even more awesome.

Hey Ted!
No one's stopping you. Go put on an apron and pull a shift. Talk is mighty cheap when you're safe, fat, happy and privileged.
