so it isn't going anywhere....and Trump is claiming this new deal will create 25,000 jobs in USA.

We can't fill tech jobs that are here now (2 kids working in tech field -- there are more jobs than qualified folks).

I guess Trump will be adding more temp visas to the mix.......

This new deal keeps the tik tok technology at tik tok. It allows the US to do 'security'.......

But the joke is 25,000 new jobs -- where are they going to find people for those jobs.

ByteDance, the China-based company that owns video-sharing app TikTok, said it was not told that $5 billion of its deal with Walmart and Oracle would go to President Donald Trump’s so-called “patriotic education” initiative.

Trump told a campaign rally Saturday that money from TikTok’s sale would fund his proposal to educate children about “the real history of our country ― the real history, not the fake history.”
You’d think the idiot-in-chief who is such a “genius” coming from the free market would understand that he doesn’t get a cut of this purchase.... and yet he keeps yammering on about it.

And I still question the ability to ban it. The ban on wechat was thrown out.

I read it’ll employ. I’m guessing those people are currently employed, will just be changed over to the new oversight. Not new jobs.

TikTok owner ByteDance will hold an 80% stake in TikTok U.S. with Oracle Inc. and Walmart Inc. taking a minority stake after receiving approval from the Trump administration. The new company, called TikTok Global, will list on a U.S. stock exchange within 12 months.

The important thing -- security I guess will be done by Oracle....all of the rest TikTok.

Wechat concerns by Americans is stupid.
