Hopefully Biden will lose the election on his own merits, or lack there of since he’s definitely feeble and is a career politician who has done nothing other than be on the wrong side of every correct decision that others have made.
Also, by stating that his VP will most likely be a woman of color, clearly indicates his desire to please a recent minority agenda by limiting the talent field to a specific gender and race. Isn’t that discrimination ❓
Presidents are not kings, congress enacts legislation.
The whole thing is like scaremongering based upon fantasy. Is that what we have been reduced to in this country?
Well I do agree, but look at how BLM has taken off and if you are against it, you will be called a racist. If a black woman that wants to promote the likes of BLM and so-on gets in, she will have one heck of a lot of power over the white people because she has the race card and will call out each congress person out as a racist if they disagree with her, so lets not simplify this. The race thing is crazy right now and Biden's VP is very important. Biden looks terrible and really shouldn't be running, but he is the one running as crazy as it seems. He sure is a Washington regular and will just go along with the big boys.
I am not sure who I am voting for yet. I am a centrist, but do worry about this far left movement more than anything I have ever seen before. They are the most unpatriotic bunch ever!
Biden will have to decide if he wants a very narrow range of black voters which make up roughly 10% of the population (not counting children) or a large swath of white voters disenchanted with Trump who will nevertheless decide to go with Trump rather than having a black female president running the country. My fear would be that a black female President, having learned what a rogue like Trump could get away with, will pull out all the stops to get reparations for blacks as payback for two centuries of slavery. That would be the costliest hit to the budget we'd ever see--reaching into the trillions.
But it wouldn't stop there. A black female President, I feel, would work to get financial aid for housing for poverty-ridden blacks, stiffen evictions laws for person of color (a sort of Affirmative Action for housing) as well as national healthcare for all. Welfare reform enacted by Clinton to put an end to generational welfare for grandmothers, mothers and daughters would be scraped and the old system of monthly welfare payments--the more kids the higher the amount--would likely return.
It's all a prescription for disaster for this country which will already be fighting enormous deficits caused by Coronavirus for decades.
Elizabeth Warren would be a much safer choice because she cares about ALL of the middle and low income Americans. She would attract the white voters and likely a good percentage of black and Hispanic voters as well. A choice of Warren for VP would virtually assure Biden the Presidency.
"The risk for Biden if he picks a black running mate"
Just because a person is Vice President, it doesn't mean they will necessarily be President one day. Not many VP's have gone on to win the higher office. I dislike the idea of Elizabeth Warren for VP. Sure hope she is not who Biden picks. I think Tammy Duckworth would be awesome.
Any President after Trump, for many, many years, has learned that they can get away with anything, no matter how nefarious or unlawful while holding that office. That is another horrible consequence of having Trump as our President. He is truly EVIL. Shame on you if you vote for him!
I don't have a problem with him saying that. Some kids are smart and some kids (of all races) aren't. Not all white kids are bright and neither are all black kids. Some of both races are and some of both races aren't. That's a fact!
Do you not see that saying, 'Poor kids are just as smart as white kids' you're actually saying poor kids aren't white and white kids aren't poor?
I don't know how many times I need to post this to clear it up:
Biden did not promise to select a black woman for VP, nor did he even promise to select a woman of color.
He simply promised to select a woman.
Yes, during the debate, he did say he would select a woman for vice president. Since then I don't know if he changed and actually said he would be selecting a woman of color or if the left is insisting she be a woman of color. Also in the debate, I believe he said we would pick a black woman (woman of color?) for Supreme Court Justice.
