As a Christian, it distresses me to see the Bible desecrated, but at the same time, I recognize that what they’re burning is a book that came off a printing press just like every other commercially-produced book. What’s sacred to me are the words printed inside the book not the pages themselves. I feel the same way about the church. So many people are freaked out that churches are closed because of Covid, but the church is not closed, only the buildings are closed.
Then the Supreme Court must be Nazis (and some of the Repugs are) because it is legal to burn a bible.
