Looks like it has been a peaceful, content summer in the city of St. Louis!

Sarcasm aside, why are people so discontent this year in many big, liberal cities? They track the numbers on the city vs city forum and it is incredible the violence this year in so many ultra-liberal cities.

St. Louis 51 homicides in July and 154 homicides this year so far with just 300,000 people

Contrast that to the state of Maine that had a total of 22 homicides last year and has 1.3 million people in the state.

We said that lockdowns and school closures would have a detrimental effect on the disadvantaged and liberals didn’t care. This blood is on their hands.

I can tell that you aren't thinking with a shred of reason. The shutdowns have nothing to do with this. The people committing murder are the same ones who keep doing this. What we're seeing in St. Louis is nothing new. It's been going on as far back as the 1940s.

So...I live in Texas, and I’m the first to question why someone from Arizona is throwing shade on STL?

Like a lot of inner cities, there are a lot of reasons it went bad. Do some reading. STL is doubly a shame because it had/has some really great architecture.

To be honest, it has nothing to do with St. Louis. Said person is known for bashing any place that isn't 95% White and conservative.

St. Louis being an old city with some French influences, it has some architectural gems. Same for New Orleans.

I can name entire towns that are less than 50 percent White with average school test scores in the 95th percentile, extremely low crime rates, and where 1500 square foot homes go for over a million dollars.

I know. I'm merely talking about why the OP talks badly about certain cities.
