The neat thing about science is that it constantly changes as more is learned and what was fact on 2005 is ancient history in 2020. Those that expect everything to be static explains why current politics operate like were back in the 1950's, those in power don't realize that time has moved on and what was once the norm is now archaic and out of date....
Its kind of a silly article. They are not Fauci's researchers, it is not Fauci's NIH. He doesn't own them, he doesn't employ them. They are employed by the government and it is a government agency.
Dr. Fauci's political concerns changed and he wants to support the Marxist Democrats he identifies with !!!

Complaining about Dr Fauci won't turn Trumps campaign around he will be the whipping boy for years to come blamed for 1000's of American deaths, and economic disaster like Herbert Hoover was blamed for the great depression.
The more you complain about Fauci the less votes Trump will get.
It's important to note that while it may have worked against a related virus, that doesn't mean it will work with this virus. So far it hasn't been found effective for COVID-19: https://www.nejm.org/doi/full/10.1056/NEJMoa2019014
It was never used against SARS in actual patients, though. The article references lab science only.
