So if the Democrats get all or almost all of what they want anyways, what is the point in voting Republican? All it does it slow down the inevitable. The Republicans constantly talked of fiscal sanity yet caved each time during the Obama years as well.

If the Republicans aren't going to have some balls and walk away from a bad deal then I am just going to vote Democrat or third party. No sense in wasting my vote. We have socialists and socialist lites running our country right now.

I might consider voting for Biden because there is no real difference between him and Trump. At least with Biden and Democratic control of house and senate there will be less gridlock and things will get done quicker. I may not like the things that they are doing but its not like the Republicans and Trump are doing anything different.
Because it will be significantly WORSE if Democrats win. Biden is talking about things like free community college and health insurance for illegal aliens, and Democrats in general are talking about any freebie they can dream up - from reparations to student loan forgiveness to UBI.

And you say that if Democrats win/retain both Houses of Congress, at least there will be no gridlock and they can “get things done quicker”? Is that the objective: to get things done, no matter how harmful they are to America and its law-abiding citizens? To the contrary, our only hope to save the country, should the leftist now running actually win, is to RETAIN the Senate and block the “things” the Democrats would otherwise “get done.”

Do you mind if I ask you how old you are? Your logic would be from someone very young.

And the death counts are fudged.

"Dr. Pino tells FOX 35 that one "could actually argue that it could have been the COVID-19 that caused him to crash."

Of course the COVID death count is fudged. I personally have heard of three people who have died - such as a friend whose co-worker’s sister died - and in all three cases they had late-stage cancer.

All good points, and you can add Defunding of Police nationwide, accepting violence and lawlessness, Open Borders (amnesty), and a plethora of new taxes tied to the Green New Deal and others.

I was going to add that, but my post was getting too long. But so true. After seeing how Democrats are excusing, justifying, and outright defending the criminals rampaging their streets, and preventing law officers from controlling it, who would vote for violent lawlessness to continue? Only someone quite young and naive, or someone so brainwashed by leftist lies that their judgment is totally impaired.

Just remember, only two Presidents of the past decades have reduced the budget deficit - Clinton and Obama, while all the Republicans of the past 40 years have increased it manyfold. So, your little story of the Republican party supposedly being the party of fiscal responsibility is nothing but an illusion.

You're right, there is absolutely zero reason to vote GOP.

Yep.

JFK would be considered a Conservative by the standards of today's Left.

There is no point. I have accepted that. I think this is why people were drawn to Trump.

I have sort of accepted that we cannot win the battle anymore. People no longer understand what happens when we have no money... so they don't see any point in not spending. We will have to get to the point where we have money money for people to return to conservative sanity.

For me, that means... save my money and take advantage of any hand outs I can get from the government for as long as a I can.

The point in voting Republican over Democrat is that Republicans are more fiscally responsible (while still being irresponsible) and they are more likely to protect civil rights as they are less authoritarian than the Democrats who have embraced the fringe left.

Honestly though, the best argument "for" a Republican is the argument against Democrats and I'm not in the business of voting merely to vote against someone which is why I typically don't vote. Give me someone worth voting FOR if you want me to show up and cast a ballot.

So what is the option? Vote for Biden and the party that is offering illegals free healthcare, open borders which will destroy incomes(simple supply/demand), free education/student loan forgiveness. And I am sure many other programs i have forgotten. This will make what we are spending now look like chump change. You can only tax business and the wealthy so much before they shut down or leave. Then you have Venezuela with a bunch of angry, starving people whom the Government can no longer support and can't figure out why.
