Voting for either of the old parties feels weird anyway. But the OP raises a point I arrived at back around 2012, which is that both of these parties are just different sides of a corroded, nasty coin. It may be baked into our system that we have two parties, but I don’t see how anyone is satisfied with these parties.

Oh, come on, now.

Pubs are all about limited government (as they send troops into American cities, uninvited and unwanted) and "free markets" (as they go for another round of tax cuts/trickle down).

Don't tell us you haven't gotten yours yet.

Trickle-down has been the GOP's go-to tactic for 90 years now.

Pub voters still think that it just needs a little more time.

With that said, I predict a Democrat sweep, which is why I bought a house away from the city, deep in the country with land. The left can live with the results of their efforts. I will make my own life on my own.
Your neighbors will miss you.

Your brainwashed. It's that simple. You swallowed the hook, the line and the sinker.

The only ones trying to do/fix anything wrong with the country at the national political level are Democrats. With one or two exceptions in Congress, all Republicans have basically backed away from any criticism of crazy Trump, any rational legislation or policy that could help this country fix our problems - Covid, the Economy, Healthcare, etc. A big fat nothing.

What does voting Republican get you ? Another 4 years of Science Denial, no national COVID policy, No healthcare, and more millionaires implementing policies that benefit them.

It's great to be rich and watch the proletariat put more money in my pocket. It sucks to see a guy like Joe Biden take it out of my pocket.

Boy sometimes it's tough to be rich.

I'll vote for an orange can before I vote for a Democrat. They've reached a level of crazy that has surpassed time and space itself. Voting Republican means keeping nutbaggery out of the government.

Vote for whomever you want. Either one is both sides of the same coin. In the end , all you can do is vote for the party that aligns somewhat with things that are important to you.

For me, the 2A is the most important thing. I am anti global, America should come first. Immigration, trade, jobs, etc...America first. Anyone that spews free policies...I.E. "free" tuition, "free" healthcare...etc , really only means that those that can (the wife and I) , pay for those that can't, or don't want to. I'm all for helping those that really can't work, sickness, disabilities, etc. I don't want to help those that choose to live the life of handouts. Corporate, and consumer confidence is key for a good economy. Businesses are willing to expand, hire , etc when they are confident. Consumers are will to spend when they are confident. These two things keep the country going. All these issues point me in the direction of voting GOP. I have no choice.

And this is without adding all the anti police / defund the police rhetoric. And allowing the lawlessness across the country. Those things are just driving the nail in, on what choice to make.

That being said, Trump needs to shut up, stay off of twitter and step up his plan for the future. If he doesn't , he will basically be handing over the election. My wife and I will vote for him, but for those on the fence he needs to gain those votes.

You answered your own question. We are just slowing down being a socialist or dictatorship country. Just trying to hang on.
