What a ridiculous thing to say. If they did such a wonderful job containing the virus, the whole world would not have caught it. The Chicoms were the ones that were arresting doctors for trying to alert the world of this virus. Then when they could no longer hide it, they tried telling the world there was no evidence that it could be passed from person to person.
Based off the crappy info provided by the Chicoms, Fauci told Americans they had nothing to worry about from this mysterious new virus. Pelosi was telling everyone to visit Chinatown and AOC was calling Americans racist for not eating enough Chinese food. You would think people would learn their lesson the first time after getting burned by the Chicoms, but we have lefties here praising the Chicom's botched handling of all of this. They are apparently too dense to learn.

All governments lie and normally in each country the media will cover for the government. Somehow in the United States, our media does not cover for our own government, they cover for China's government. How effed up is that? Globalism has really twisted the world into an incomprehensible mess.

Per Worldometer as of today, the small South American nation of Peru has 80,000 Coronavirus cases. The articles are not new, I included them for reference. Is it plausible that Peru and China could have comparable case counts or is China lying?

Fact is that Chinese have for 2 months been living normal lives without getting infected. That is not compatible with "Chinas numbers must be at least 100 times higher" theory.
it's almost like they had better containment measures, a more cooperative populace, and more competent leadership... much like taiwan and south korea who also have infection rates.

Of course they are. But the outbreaks are notable to begin with because the country as a whole isn't experiencing them. If they have an outbreak of 50 ppl it makes news. How on earth do you compare a tiny outbreak like that compared to our 50-75k a day?!? If the CCP were really getting outbreaks like we have here, then there would be massive lockdowns, and that's not something you can hide from the world. If they locked down Guangdong or Fujian, the world would know it, regardless of what the chinese government "reports."
Chinese do things like make tea out of Tiger testicles and bear caulks, eat raw ground squirrel brains, eat stewed bats, etc. etc. et. Yeah, what could possibly go wrong there?
