No, no, a thousand times no. Trump is not qualified or temperamentally suited to be president no matter what his party affiliation.

I don't know what happened to this guy, except I'm inclined to believe organic brain disease.

Who changes THAT much?
He was a Democrat. Then he ran for president as a third party candidate and dropped out. Now he is a Republican.

This is a guy who spent the Obama years test driving policies on the Dave Letterman Show. One of those tests was the Made in China thing. Letterman was ready for him and pulled out Trump branded shirts and ties, all made anywhere other than the US. When asked why this or that tie was made in Bangladesh or China, Trump said, they need to work, too. Then he launched into a commercial for Macy’s where his made anywhere other than the US, were made.

Over time, technology substitution and industrial robotics have eliminated more jobs than outsourcing/ off shoring has. Population was obviously ripe to blame Mexico and China than grasp the evolving technology revolution.

If he is the same person he is right now, but calls himself a D? No. Wouldn't vote for him. It's impossible that the R and all 3rd party people running against him could ever be worse. I don't think the democrats would have ever let him get that far though. He switched to R for a reason...

I'm talking about 25 years ago, not during the Obama years.

Create a list of politicians that aren't opportunists. If you want to say that he is more of one that is a separate argument.

As long as Trump promised to build the Mexican Border Wall, fix unfair trade deals, appoint conservative judges and support America's military and police, I don't care what party he ran on.

There is a reason he chose to run as a Republican.
Then why do you think he was a registered democrat for over 40 years? And donated to democratic politicians?

No, I would not. If Trump ran as a Democrat, he would be advocating for Democrat policies.

Because they should get the blame. Stop focusing on the lowest assembly line jobs....that is obviously how the majority of our population bought into it. Many, many more skilled high paying jobs were lost to offshoring/outsourcing.

I voted for him in 2016 because my priority was the economy and that he was a non career politician. I am not voting for him this year because my priority has changed with my health. I think the Biden administration will do better with healthcare. It doesn't matter if he was a Republican or Democrat for me. I think people should vote on who/what is going to help them personally.

If Biden doesn't do his job(assuming he wins), i will likely vote for Andrew Yang in 2024 if he runs. That UBI could help me pay my health insurance premiums if i decide to quit my corporate job and go solo. I am leaning on leaving my corporate job.
