Who in their right mind would want a 3 trillion dollar bailout. Its not just our children but our grandchildren will be paying this for all of their lives. Democrats want to bail out cities. No one cent..the cities need to figure it out, take pay cuts, cut back on waste.. but no bailouts. We are far enough in debt.

I take it you were ok with the $2 trillion CARES Act? The one passed with bi-partisan support? Did you do your part and rip up your check?

So, the multi trillion $$$ tax cut for the wealthy, which added bigly to the deficit, was okay?

The infrastructure plan which added trillions to the deficit was okay?

The multi trillion dollar CARES program added to the deficit in a plunging economy was okay?

But now, we don't wish to add to the deficit with a program that will benefit workers, homeowners, municipalities (schools, fire departments, police) ?

Don't get me wrong, i am NOT in favor of deficit spending, but after you throw $10 Trillion away, is it wrong to say we don't wish to help out the little guy who ultimately will get the bill for the whole thing?

Nobody was ever going to pay off this debt...
It will be burned either by bombs dropped onto yet another country, or by hyperinflation.

This was going to be my comment as well.

It seems when R's want to give free money to businesses, who then buy back stock and off-shore jobs, it's OK. But when Dems want to give any money to the actual citizens of our country, they have a problem with it.

FWIW, I think the correct solution is somewhere in the middle. More than $200 for those who need it, less than $600 for those who may be incentivized to otherwise not return to work. And only money to businesses who are US owned, and can PROVE that the money will go toward keeping US Citizens and LEGAL aliens working.

How's that sound? (Probably too simple to make sense.)

I didn’t think Kennedy center should get money but i was fine with people getting the money that needed it. I was fine with unemployment since so many were unemployed. Why would you think I got a check? The checks were meant to help those in most need. I am fine with people getting a second stimulus to help lower income households.

That was discussed 3 months ago.

Trump has already asked for and received 3 trillion in handouts, and he is asking for another trillion.

Yes, we are far enough in debt.
