Anyone who wants to know why some Democrats are really urging Biden not to debate Trump should go and read these links the OP provided. You will see that the OP lied about it.
They really can't allow Joe to appear before the public for three one hour sessions- his impairment will be on full display and he will lose in a landslide.
They need to cancel, claiming it is due to the coronavirus.
And will the useful idiots fall for that transparent lie, given that the debate could be in an empty studio?
Donald can be exposed for the idiot he is if he were to debate. Trump lacks the knowledge to discuss any of the major issues facing the country today, and if pressed to answer tough questions with detail supporting his response, he'd humiliate himself.
Other than saying "we are winning against covid" and "mail-in voting, bad!," Trump would be unable to articulate a coherent response that makes sense.
It's truly amazing that Trump supporters can't see him for what he is.
Trump is unable to talk policy. He can't stand on his record anymore other than what it "used to be". In a debate we will just get a lot of "like nobody has ever seen before", "tremendous", "incredible" when he is talking about himself. And a bunch of apocalyptic tripe when he is describing what will happen if Biden wins.
And of course there will be a bunch of "fake news" whining and blaming stuff on China and Obama. The deepest he will ever be able to get on policy will be to say that NATO partners aren't "paying their fair share" and that's why he pulled the troops out of Germany.
Speaking of policy, two weeks ago Trump said he was going to have a health care plan out. Nothing yet. Maybe he meant three weeks.
Biden has never shied away from a debate he practically made Palin and Ryan cry during previous debates.
He might not be as sharp as he was in 08 and 12 but he can still hold his own.
Not so. He has declined very noticeably in the last 8 years, even in the last few months. He cannot hold focus long enough to complete a....uh.....uh.....what was I saying?
How many times do you people need to be told the same thing? Biden has already agreed to the debates. It is far more likely that Trump would try to drop out.
