Portland Whole Foods workers walk out after employee says he lost job over anti-racism button

A Whole Foods worker walkout took place at a Portland store on Sunday afternoon after an employee said he had to resign for refusing to take off a button that said "racism has no place here."

Dylan Woodruff, 23, said he was told on July 27 not to come back to work because of the button, Street Roots reported. Woodruff worked at Whole Foods' Laurelhurst store east of downtown Portland and was expected at Sunday's walkout, a spokesperson for Portland Jobs with Justice, a group supporting the walkout, told FOX Business.

Whole Foods' website declares "Racism has no place here," but the button was not made by Whole Foods. The store's policy bans "any visible slogans, messages, logos or advertising that are not company-related, on any article of clothing."

Bye cry babies! Someone will appreciate your job!

There was a mini protest in front of my local Whole Foods this past Saturday. People were screaming that WF's is "racist" and and to "not shop there." They have a dress code like every job and people have a choice to abide by company policy or quit. I do NOT care what the checker at the grocery thinks politically. Leave your political opinions for after work on your own time. I just want to buy my food and leave. There is also a class action lawsuit filed by some other woke pro-BLM people. Whatever...

If these pathetic RACIST punks ever had a real job, they would know you agree to company policy on dress code.

I hope they ALL do not get unemployment since they effectively QUIT their jobs! I hope WHOLE FOODS BANS them for LIFE in their grocery stores!

Whole Foods ROCKS!

We need MORE business to get their tail out from between their legs and FIRE ALL these BLM LOSERS that don't want to comply with the rules!

Oh boy, you're probably right. Let's hope they decide to act like adults and use their words.
