I'm sure there are many trump supporters hoping that trump would get rid of Pence before the election.
Much as Bush and the republicans wanted to get rid of Quayle, the difference being trump most likely wants to keep Pence as Pence has one important quality that trump loves. he will never upstage him.
But as trump is old and in failing health, Pence would be a disaster for the right. If trump wins, they are doubly stuck because both chambers of the legislature would have to approve a new VP pick, even if they can talk Pence into 'retiring' so they can have a better VP should trump become incapacitated.
There is no shot at the right taking back the HofR and a decent chance they lose the senate.
So their choice is president Pence or president Polosi which means they are stuck either way.
Who on Earth would consent to run with Trump at this point? Even McConnell is telling the Republicans to distance themselves from Trump in their campaigns if they hope to have a chance of retaining their seats.
Nope, there is no other sucker willing to take on the job of Chief Bootlicker to Trump. It's a thankless, political life-killing job. No one wants it.
I bet even Pence doesn't want it anymore, but he has destroyed himself politically already so he has nowhere else to go at this point.
Please state your reasons you think should dump Pence?
I didn’t say he should dump Pence. I said his VP pick makes zero difference in this race. This election is 100% about Trump. His VP is not going to change the mind of a single voter.
Pence should have dumped trump. He would have been a far better president than Cheeto who has been self destructing for months now
Agreed. Pence is a statesman. Don't like him but he at least is competent
