You know, posters who deliberately try to get in the way of any effort to help stop the rapid spread of this serious new virus and the complicated disease it causes.
Who causes dissension and seeds doubt about measures to protect humanity during a global pandemic? Why do they do it?

You give them too much credit. There is no concerted effort at all. They are all just idiots.
Covid isn't political and doesn't care who doesn't care. It will continue to ravage its way through the population until it no longer has a host. Australia was doing great until it wasn't. The same with every other country. All we can do is our best to mitigate this virus's effects. Unfortunately, not everybody is doing that.

Curfew between 8 p.m. and 5 a.m., residents can leave home for work, medical care and caregiving
Exercise outside your home: up to one hour per day.
Only one person in your household will be able to go out shopping each day
Can only travel within 5 km of your house (that's about 3 miles)
Anyone want to sign up for THIS??????
Freedom is over unless people start waking up.
The pandemic is not over so it's still to early to conclude who made the better decision. However, hard to argue that Australia's policies haven't worked better than the USA in terms of controlling spread of infections and deaths.

This.^^ Here is the OP ridiculing a country that has contained the virus well. Look at their numbers. They must be doing something right to have kept them so low.
Now look at the our numbers by comparison, OP, and tell us who you think is doing a better job.
But yeah, let's make fun of the country that is whipping our ass in containment and deaths. It's the MAGA way.
It is the Melbourne metropolitan area only under these restrictions at this stage, things are running pretty much as normal outside Melbourne, I feel sorry for them.
Indeed more than 90% of of the active cases in Australia are in Melbourne, most of the blame can go back policies of the state government of Victoria, during the initial phase of the disease, Victoria is normally considered the most "Liberal" state in Australia.
