I don’t know about jail for the officers anymore. Floyd said he could not breath before he was even in the car. Of course the officers are not going to take it seriously later on. Not to mention Floy had a lethal mix of drugs in his system that probably accounted for more than 50% of his death. If you go back and watch the video when the officer is kneeling on him, he is not putting his full weight on Floyd. Why didn’t Floyd just stay in the car? The officers were more than patient with him. Also the idea of racism in this? I sure didn’t see any.
Hypertensive heart disease is no joke and meth is probably the worst drug he could take and I guarantee he wouldn't have been around much longer anyway.
The threat of possibly having unwittingly made a purchase with a supposedly fake bill that is not in evidence? Obviously that requires an extrajudicial long painful tortuous public execution. Mr Floyd was overcome with fear to the point of panic because he like all blacks knew what might happen to them at the hands of the police. Turns out his fear was accurate.
There are no saints in this story. George Floyd was a brain-dead tweaker and probably a net waste for society to have him around. He was big enough, with enough muscles, to get some brain-dead Black girls pregnant. But too stupid to get his life on track for his kids.
The cops showed incredibly disregard for human life. Especially Chauvin. When someone is cuffed, they're in your protection. Placing your knee on your neck is not warranted in that case.
I have no problems seeing Chauvin go down for something and the others can walk.

FYI : a knee to the SIDE of the neck is a Jiu Jitsu control hold. It does not crush both carotid arteries, nor does it crush the trachea / windpipe. (And the autopsy bore this out - no evidence of asphyxiation - nor damage to the neck tissue.)
That Mr Floyd was speaking belies the claim that he could not breathe. He was posturing for the benefit of the cameras recording him. He was no idiot - having done hard time. He was trying to stack the deck to get charges dropped.
Chauvin is the real victim - of a national lynching by MSM slime and Marxist revolutionaries posing as champions of the downtrodden.
They want division and racial tension to push their agenda and knock off the traditional government.

The independent autopsy found signs of asphyxiation. And yes, you can speak while being unable to breathe.
So much disgusting mental gymnastics going on in this thread.
Knee on back of the neck is a common technique used by law enforcement to immobilize & control suspects. It was never considered a controversial technique until 2 months ago.
It isn’t common, in fact, it’s widely discouraged in police departments, even before this incident.
Floyd stated he was claustrophobic when the cops attempted to put him in the squad car.
Hmmm...he sure wasn't claustrophobic when he was behind the wheel of the Benz...
Which isn't to say that he deserved to die; he didn't. But there is an element of cupability on him which very few are discussing here.
Stay tuned. There's a lot more to this whole situation than meets the eye.

The "knee-on-neck" tactic is a procedure US LEO learned from their counterparts in Israel...
