Biden was asked by a reporter about whether he thought illegal aliens in the US, who are here in violation of immigration law, are entitled to welfare benefits like Medicare and Medicaid.

“I think that anyone who is in a situation where they’re in need of healthcare, regardless of whether they are documented or undocumented, we have an obligation to see that they are cared for,” Biden said. “That’s why I think we need more clinics around the country.”

I wonder what percentage of the middle class (those who carry the financial burden) would be fine with supporting Biden’s statement to foot the bill for the healthcare and for building more clinics to serve them?

I guess it stems from the belief, If you build it, they will come!

Their kids are already covered as well as schooling and lunch assistance etc. and have been for some time.

Regardless of peoples opinions on the topic, this is reality.

A few years back I showed how the California state budget changed over the last 40 years and basically those programs have doubled their percentage component of the state budget. (Again, just talking reality, not condemning).

At this point, I give up.

Our corporations exploit foreign labor with low pay and no benefits which undercuts blue collar wages impacting exisiting US poor (a lot of blacks etc. in that group) the most. White, educated folks like myself get the best of both worlds since it doesn't affect my job (or my families) but I get cheaper food etc.

All of this wrapped up with a bow such that opposition has even been deemed racism, even though this is just a end-around of Ceasar Chavez's efforts decades past.

It is frankly one of the slickest, most evil pieces of propaganda devised by US corporations ever but most Americans are too partisan or too stupid to see truth.

To modify a saying, you can lead a horse to water but a lot of people are dumber than a horse.

The cool part though is that I know Biden etc. won't follow through. They're just pandering to the far left with nice words. I'm not even sure they'll make progress on healthcare for US citizens.

I think that the democrats will do quite well this election due to Trump, but they've been really emboldened on the far left which will bite them hard when the R's run someone more reasonable in the future but that's just the ebb and flow of R's and D's.

....especially since Obama devised a scheme that leaves American citizens in their 50s and early 60s with insurance plans that cost as much as $1000 a month, and with $6,000 deductible.

What Mathguy said.

They already do get free healthcare. Just walk into any hospital emergency room and they have to treat you. Maybe not like Harris county treated the illegal who was working for one of those national tree trimming companies. Their employee fell out of a tree in another county. They brought him to Harris county where he was treated for his injuries for 6 months. Then he was sent home for his mom th care for his paralyzed body.

In the cases of this Covid 19. Which is best, treatment or none? There is a big pocket of cases in Houston where the illegals are living in crowed apartments. Those illegals are working in restaurant kitchens, cleaning office buildings, roofing houses, installing flooring and mowing commercial property all over town. You want them carrying disease, too?

In my perfect world the people who hire them would have their assets seized and imprisoned 10 years for each and every one they hire.

But nobody cares. We are spending a ton of money, but not seeing many deportations or property seized.

The beloved American business owners are passing their expenses onto the rest of us. And the right ******* about socialism. SMH

How to ruin our Republic..allow tens of millions of ILLEGAL trespassers to occupy the country, inflict debt and drain on the healthcare system, give them free transportation, their own interpreters, housing, WIC/EBT ect. Many do not nor try to learn English, many send much of their income back to country they left to family who has no intention of coming here, where they rent they pile multiple people into housing unit and treat it like its their village back wherever. ILLEGAL means against or violating the law...duh...come here legally with right attitude i say welcome...break into the country and have no respect for what it offers stay in your own or go elsewhere! Here ILLEGALLY get ready for free ride back to the border...

How is an employer supposed to be able to detect whether an illegal alien is using a forged/stolen ID and SS number if even the e-verify system admin admits it can't detect it most of the time?

Can you even imagine what would happen if an employer challenged the veracity of a POC's ID documents? The idiot SJWs would incessantly shriek "Racist!" "Bigot!" "Xenophobe!" and attempt to "cancel" the business. We ALL know that would happen.

If you think you are getting cheaper food by illegal alien workers then you aren't dealing in reality. Only 2-4% of illegals are in the farming industry and their greedy employers are only pocketing the profits from them. They pass nothing on to the consumer in the way of saving but what they do pass on to you is their enormous social costs via your taxes. Your so-called cheap food isn't so cheap after all.

Unless your kids are attending private schools they are having to deal with overcrowded ones where their illegal classmates are slowing down their education because they don't speak English. Your family is having to wait for hours for medical care in the ER due to illegal aliens who use it as their doctor's office. The list goes on and on how your family is being negatively impacted by illegal aliens.
