More corruptness from China: https://www.theguardian.com/environm...ds-environment

"Chinese fishing vessels come every year to the seas around the Galápagos, which were declared a Unesco world heritage site in 1978, but this year’s fleet is one of the largest seen in recent years. Of the 248 vessels, 243 are flagged to China including to companies with suspected records of illegal, unreported and unregulated, or IUU, fishing, according to research by C4ADS, a data analysis NGO."

It's sad that the US and most of the world supports their behavior just so we can have cheap Chinese garbage. If BLM and ANTIFA want to do something good in the world, they could start boycotts of all the companies who do business there. Oh, but they couldn't give up their apple phones their moms bought them.

The Chinese could care less what gets caught in their nets. And I'm sure that theres a lot of rare marine life around the Galapagos that has extreme value as a part of Chinese "medicine." Pieces and parts that see 97% of the creature discarded after removal of said parts.

The Chinese have zero interest in sustainable methods. They're about butcher and decimate. When it's all gone move on rinse repeat.

Where I finished HS in N CA, a very rural area, Chinese poachers from the Bay Area would slaughter deer, bear and other fish and game and take only antlers , hooves and gal bladders and they would gig and/or net hundreds of salmon and steelhead. We used to come across their sites all the time.

There was (may still be) an unwritten policy on these a$$holes of shoot on sight. And bodies would turn up every now and again. Never caught any in the act myself but if I had I would have gladly followed the policy.

Chinese fishing fleets are pretty much industrialized poaching. The Japanese aren't much if any better. Both tear the hell out of our Pacific fisheries. Giant floating canneries just rolling up as much as they are able.

They are like locusts. Were I king I would have standing orders for our sub fleet to make any and all of these floating canneries meet a tragic accident. And all fish and wildlife field officers would have shoot on sight orders for poachers (ALL poachers not just Asian ones) and citizens would have the same orders.

China is no friend of mother nature, and mother Earth. Remember, we only have one Earth. Why is the left silent on this issue???

Beats me. As part of the Paris accord, China got a free pass on their dirty Coal plants until 2030. This, at the same time they are the biggest Coal polluter on the planet

Doesn't fit the narrative. Shows how little the Left really cares about nature. Just another card to play.
