I like how he says, "I know there has been some confusion surrounding the usage of face masks..." as if he isn't the sole source of all that "confusion".
So now he is extolling the virtues of masks, 160,000 and counting dead Americans later. Say what you will, this guy is a really, really, really slow learner.
Well, that and the fact that he can read the polls...
Have mercy. The man will say anything to appeal to as many people as possible, lol. He's such a shallow and empty suit.
Imagine the confusion among the MAGAs. After months of refusing to wear a mask, much less encouraging anyone else to, he has suddenly had a "come to Jesus" moment (falling polls will do that) and is telling his fans that masks are good now!
Whats a good MAGA to do?
We know the answer to that. They will pretend that Trump was advocating for masks all along, and it is FAKE NEWS! that he was ever anything else. It's the MAGA way.
Far too late but I guess being dragged kicking and screaming onto the side of science is better than not showing up at all. The bar has never been lower for a POTUS.
