YOu seem to think since they are Indians they get preference. But if they are USC or GC, they get pushed aside because of H1B due to their higher wage demands.

Just trying to follow you logic here...

The second they get citizenship they stop caring about policy that impacts their friends and family who are not citizens?

Heck one friend who used to work at a major u.s. Ironically he flies to India 3 or 4 times a year to do I.T. recruiting because that organization decided they could save so much on costs by offshoring.
Corps do that any ways. One year Lowe's dispersed 1/2 of their mid-level managers and only to hire newbies much cheaper. Happened to my son. 7 yrs in the Co... layoff-- oops, 3 mo later- fresh college kids holding the positions.

Yep, this type of stuff should be illegal. I am left of center on this position. Actually, what I am, is pro American worker, not aligned with any party. Employees need more protection from corps laying off to make a tiny bump to their quarterly stock statements without regards for the families and communities they serve that provide them with their income.

Maybe it depends on the job. The gov IT jobs I have seen usually say "US Citizens" only.

They would crucify you saying you want to be a socialist or some crap. You earn your stature and money working hard over the years, and live that way~ only to be shot down to low level starting all over again.

Some do, many don't, it's generally due to security clearance requirements.
