Or should I say suckered?
So what does that mean?

What are they not getting to where they are feeling suckered?

Usually when one is suckered, there are unfulfilled promises that were supposed to happen.

Their statement...

The 2020 general election, by every indication, will be about persuasion, with turnout expected to be at record highs. Our efforts are aimed at persuading enough disaffected conservatives, Republicans and Republican-leaning independents in swing states and districts to help ensure a victory in the Electoral College and majorities that don’t enable and abet Trump’s violations of the constitution; even if that means Democrat control of the Senate and expansion of the Democratic majority in the House.

Here's the resumes...

George T. Conway III is an attorney in New York. Steve Schmidt is a Republican political strategist who worked for President George W. Bush, Senator John McCain and Gov. Arnold Schwarzenegger. John Weaver is a Republican strategist who worked for President George H.W. Bush, Senator John McCain and Gov. John Kasich.

This is not a who's who of conservatism... especially when the roots include McCain and Kasich.

They want our constitution to be upheld which Trump knows nothing about.

They followed McCain and Kasich... please, don't give me that crap.

They held to their ideologies - that's why they are complaining.

Interesting - they could have went that route with the House Impeachment scandal, but for some reason they didn't go the Constitutional route and rather impeached him for abuse of a phone call and the fact that he didn't pay attention to them - which is not illegal.
