Because I live in California, I'll be voting by mail. I would vote in person - - not because I have any concern about mail-in voting, but because I like going to the polls. There's an energy there that I like.
I already voted in person this year in April. Next week we have a partisan primary and then the big one in Nov. I might actually be manning the polling place. I recommended opening all the windows and doors to let the breeze flow.
I will be voting by mail just like the last few elections...Ohio allows us to request a mail in ballot for no reason...it is far more convenient than standing in line for hours at the polling location like I did in 2004...that's the last time I wasted time doing it that way.
I will vote by mail in ballot much like I have for the past few elections.
Our mail in ballot system here in Colorado has been highly successful. I can track my ballot online and know that my vote has been counted while I avoid the crowds and enjoy a cup of coffee.
As will I, also in Colorado.
I have absolutely no concerns about my vote not counting when submitting a mail ballot.
I will probably vote early and in person, but I've sent in the application for a mail-in ballot just in case the plague is totally out of control by then.
Yes, I always vote in person. Texas has early voting, allowing citizens to vote for about 2 weeks prior to the actual election date, so there's more than enough room for everyone in Texas to vote in an uncrowded situation.
Those who are homebound can vote by mail, but everyone else can walk up to a polling place virtually alone if they choose to.
Don't understand why this isn't the solution for the entire country.
Those that have legitimate issues getting to the polls should be provided absentee ballots upon request and those that can make it to the polls should vote in person.
Two weeks to get all the voting done seems like the perfect solution to the Covir-19 problem.
Everyone brings a government issued picture ID to the polling station and no one collect ballots as is done in California.
Most likely early voting. Most people could vote today.
