They are nothing compared to the 17,000 ships in that Chinese fleet that are destroying a entire ocean.

On top of that, Chinese demand for ivory / Rhino horn / Tiger parts / Lion parts / Pangolins / Hippo teeth [which are also ivory] and others are leading a poaching crisis in Africa that also completely dwarfs what American and white hunters are doing in Africa...30,000 Elephants are poached a year and where is the destination for the tusks? China, Hong Kong, and to a much lesser extent Vietnam. Same with the other animal parts.

The Chinese are like locusts. Pick it clean and move on. That's what this fishing fleet is doing. And they're making a statement that they'll do whatever they wherever they want.

Like the local fisherman said in the article, "They're pulling up everything." That's what they do. They're actively hunting sharks and all they do is chop off the fins and toss the rest.

Any other fish that have parts considered a delicacy (the Chinese have lots of 'delicacies') meet the same fate. It seems if it's a critically endangered rare species it's either a delicacy to the Chinese or they want it for their witch doctor 'medicine '

Many of the ships in this fleet are broadcasting false GPS coordinates as well. To make it look like their a long ways from Galopagos waters. New Zealand caught them at this. Because they're patrolling the areas these GPS transmissions say the Chinese are. And they ain't there.

Yes these Chinese ships need to start mysteriously exploding and sinking. Must be mines left over from WW2. Probably put out buy the Japanese. Poetic justice.

The Galapagos islands are a part of Ecuador. I don't know if they have the ability to stop the Chinese.

Those are not just fishing boats. They are the Chinese navy militia.

Uh huh. Interesting video. That's actually an old Russian trick. Disguising naval vessels as trawlers. They were heavily reliant on t rd awlers for intelligence gathering and other sneaky stuff.

The Chicoms have gone a step further and armed them. That's OK. Let's see how they fare against a Wolfpack squadron of fast attack subs. This crap is just to brazen and nadsy.

Damn! The fricking arrogance! They've destroyed their own coastal fisheries so they figger they'll just go do the same to everyone else. Yes, I know scuttling their boats would be an 'act of war.'

And sending armed vessels into territorial waters to rape other country's fisheries isn't? That's just too much. Theres plenty that can be done short of launching torpedoes and cruise missiles. Besides would that be civilized? No.

Fun yes. But not civilized. Trailing out huge nets around the flotilla so they run over them and foul their screws would be a good dirty trick. Problem is the nets are a hazard to the marine life you're trying to protect. .

But you get the just. More nefarious minds than mine can ponder on it. And in this case my mind can get pretty nefarious. Were I king I would let the subs off the leash

Put a carrier strike group within range to support. Maybe let the fighter jocks do some low level supersonic overflights and boom them. Theres just no way this can be let stand.
