The reason I brought up the idea for the AG as I remember Holder saying he was Obamas wing-man. A lot of people also believe Barr is Trumps fixer loyalist.

Having a elected AG instead of an appointed one would give the AG more flexibility to root out corruption in the government and the only entity he/she would be accountable to is we the people.

They would not fear being fired for doing their job.

The AG would be able to be impeached censured by congress for wrongdoing.

The SCOTUS turning liberal to conservative every time the party in the White House changes?

The methods may need to be changed but a 9-0 Trump or Obama court would be a bad thing.

There should not be liberals or conservatives on the court it should be apolitical as they follow the law the Constitution not their ideological beliefs.

The Supreme Court is good the way they are installed. It is outside the control of the electorate, therefore the assumption is that they can freely judge in accordance with the law without the pressure of elections.
Some states have that chaos. Georgia has an elected education commissioner who is often at odds with the governor. Its ridiculous.

The whole point of an appointed Supreme Court is so that they aren't subject to electoral pressures and having to raise money.

SHOULD umkay sounds good.
A little reality. I shall quote the great philosophers Aerosmith who said in 1973. And I quote: "Dream On, Dream on, Dream on, Dream on..."

Why do you think RBG has not retired and resorted to zombie medicine?

Because she doesn't want another Trump crony on the court to overturn precedent?

Having an ag and president of conflicting parties would be a disaster.
Judges are supposed to be non political. Elections for judges ensure you get ones that are smooth politicians.

So no on both.
