Get ready for more EO's from Trump after democrats fail to compromise in negotiations on China virus relief

Talks have stalled forcing the President to do whatever he can to get Americans relief !!!

A lot of speculation on what the EO might be !!!

What is one he could do you would approve of ? What is one you most likely would disagree with ?

The payroll tax cut seems to me to be one he can do to help most working people needing help with bills !!!

Trump eyes weekend executive order if coronavirus relief talks ...

Trump insisted this week that he has the authority to issue executive orders to reinstate the expanded unemployment insurance benefits, reinstate a federal moratorium on evictions and suspend the payroll tax.

Man. Remember when the GOP screamed about ruling via executive order was bad? LOL. I do.

The social security stuff is insane. The people working dont need this relief-its the people NOT working that need help.

I remember that !!!
Its not good but when he has no other avenue and people need help !!! It would be much better if democrats would try to negotiate in good faith but they aren't concerned with helping people other than themselves !!!

Many are not working at capacity and receiving lower incomes !!!

So what help do you want the unemployed to get in an EO ?

The Payroll tax relief thing is supposed to serve as incentive for people to work.

Also gives Trump the opportunity to say he did another tax cut, albeit, temporary.

I'm on the other side of this. I'm not a trump supporter at all but the Dems are being totally unrealistic here. They would rather damage the economy and blame the GOP then do something reasonable. I might even vote for Trump if they keep this nonsense up

As of earlier today, Pelosi was willing to cut $1 trillion if the Senate would come up a $ trillion.
McConnell says the Senate will go along with an extension of the $600/ week topper, if Trump is willing.

Sounded to me like Pelosi and Trump were more in synch.

What... Democrats went in with a 3T bill. Republicans said $1T.. Democrats came back with a $2T offer.

Is that not the essence of compromise?

Oh and by the way- His EO would be as worthless as spit in a lake.

Neither party is receptive to the payroll tax cut. It does nothing for those who are not working. Both sides have dug in and it will be interesting to see who blinks first.

We are well beyond “ damaging the economy”.

Dems blame GOP and GOP blame Dems. It’s a dance.

Pelosi is a damn good Speaker of the House which represents huge variables within her own party.

Both speaker Boehner and Ryan prematurely resigned when they were unable to bring their own Republican House majority together, never mind the Democrats and they did not have the extremism of The Squad to deal with.

Mitch’s boss has made clear he is going to play ball.

Mitch will go along with most anything Big Daddy wants.
