How can we expect these nice folks to pay rent if they've already spent their money on electronics, clothes, alcohol, weed, scratch-off lottery tickets, MAGA hats, and retina-scorching laser pointers?

It's not $400. It's a political stunt. States don't have the $100/week to fund this plan. Tax revenues are down due to COVID-19... this is true in all 50 states... with southern tourist states being hit the worst. Without congress being involved, there's no way to fund this plan.

Not everyone has the same expenses as you that you've outlined in your post...

Some governors were crazy enough to follow Trump's lunatic urgings and opened up too soon, therefore many more people have become ill unnecessarily. People like you and I, people who trusted that maniac and got sick and died.

If Trump had taken this up as a responsible leader like the leadership in so many other countries he would have not only beaten the first wave of this virus like those other countries you are referring to, but he would have actually won the appreciation of the American people. Now he wants to buy their affection, but it's not working.

The left wanted to continue the $600, the right wanted it reduced to $200. Seems like $400 is a smart compromise and move. Keep in mind this is above the regular unemployment.
So you are saying the cockroaches on both teams really do not have any policies they stand by?

I've updated my previous post to include your suggestion. Oh and also included those fun laser pointers the upper-middle class basement-dwelling young white adults are so fond of blinding the cops with in the pacific northwest.

Ok finally some honesty.
So why is the left blaming Trump for increased spending and a 26 trillion dollar debt? Its congress who controls the purse strings.

Who was speaker of the house last time the US went into a Great Recession? Who was the Speaker that helped double the debt?

Thank you for being honest.

You're happy that a President is re-distributing Congressional mandated funds usurping the role our government plays in spending?

Are you really an American, or some traitor like a Russian or Chinese national?
