Unlike the protesters many of these people are old overweight men who smoke cigars and drink every day. At least the two or three bikers I know who have gone to Sturgis fit that description. Covid19 loves this type of host. Its highly unlikely that one of them doesn't get infected and gets hospitalized and will never be the same again.

I haven’t seen any masks at the Sturgis rally.
Most of the tens of thousands of violent rioters, looters and arsonists do NOT wear masks.
Let's see if the media is as critical of Atlantic Beach Bikefest aka Black Bike Week in Myrtle Beach in September. I doubt the Covid-19 virus will be eradicated by then - that is just weeks away.
Or will the rally goers there have some sort of special "immunity" that the Sturgis goers don't have?

You're comparing apples and oranges. Besides...there was plenty of concern about spread during the protests. The protests saw people generally wearing masks. The bikers in SD? Not so much.
Um it doesn't "place everyone at risk". The only people at risk are very old and those with existing health issues. Most people aren't at risk at all wit COVID. Let get that stright first.
I never realized how easily lead people were until this pandemic. Look at all these protests for nothing. A bunch of white privileged women running around in groups yelling about stupid things. They sure look like idiots.
