I think a president should be able to golf now and then and I have no problem with it. But I do have an issue with the amount of golf outings and to all Trump owned golf courses. So we are indirectly paying Trump a huge salary (at his golf courses) with every presidential visit. I also don’t like hypocrisy. Trump attacked Obama for his less frequent golf outings claiming if he were president, he wouldn’t have time for golf. Our tax dollars are making the Trump family very wealthy on golf visits alone.
I’d rather he take a salary and cut the golf to once a month.

Its probably the one place he can really let it all hang out. He can lie and cheat with impunity and that makes him feel good. That's where Donald can just be Donald.

https://www.newyorker.com/news/our-c...he-white-house

"Reilly recounts a time when Trump was declared the senior club champion at Trump National Bedminster, in New Jersey, even though he was in Pennsylvania on the day that the event was played. “He’d declared that the club should start having senior club championships for those 50 and up, but he forgot that one of the best players at the club had just turned 50,” Reilly writes. “Having zero chance of beating the guy, he went up to his Trump Philadelphia course on the day of the tournament and played with a friend there. Afterward, according to a source inside the Bedminster club, he called the Bedminster pro shop and announced he’d shot 73 and should be declared the winner. The pro, wanting to stay employed, agreed. His name went up on the plaque.”

This turned out to be a double con. When someone from the Bedminster club called up Trump’s caddy at the course in Philadelphia and asked what he’d shot there, the caddy replied, “Maybe 82. And that might be generous.”

Better on the golf course than making stuff up in the Oval Office or tweeting.

Your opinion is based on a false premise.
You might want to do the math on that one. Just sayin.

People who are willing to take Donald Trump to task for lying about his plans for golfing as president. We care.

Are you going to deny that he flat out lied about it?

I know, details, details details.

"overcharging on everything from water to carts for non-player security", and you can back this up?

Hilarious!

Libs are concerned with golf now, but not during the Obama admin when Obama played golf every other day!

Thanks for the lesson Captain Obvious.

All Presidents accumulate ridiculous travel costs. Family vacations to Hawaii, trips to the Crawford ranch.

But this coverage is over the top.

What is your opinion regarding a president golfing every weekend, even during a crisis in the US?
