It’s all about FEAR. Donald Trump is not owned by anyone, he is not part of the Political Elite in BOTH Parties that enrich themselves at the expense of American Citizens. Worse than all that ... he KNOWS about their Corruption and how they do it.
Nobody in Washington ever expected a total outsider, a Non-Politician would ever manage to Self Fund a Campaign and WIN by exposing the Corruption and running against both Parties.
They are correct to fear him, he is exposing them daily.
It's really strange how much the hatred for him has gotten. He went from well liked, at least in the interviews I've seen from the '90's, '00's etc....then he decided to run for POTUS. That is when things went crazy. And once he beat the candidate that was supposed to win, things went crazy from there.
