the rioters are spreading out to the various neighborhoods.. its not all one tiny area.

and don't forget there are people that live all over the city and Indiana that work in these areas, now their lives are being gravely affected.

If these areas shut down forever there goes shopping and resources for people who need the stores.
River Oaks in Cal City as well.

They've even shut down all of the expressway ramps in the Cal City, Lansing & Munster areas - and have shut down Torrence and limited access to the Landings.

What is a 'looting event?'
Agree. The fact that this is still happening 2 months afterwards is incomprehensible. You would think the city would learn its lesson and be prepared to quickly prevent something like this from happening again.

Unbelievable lack of leadership, but this all starts at home too. These kids are not socialized like normal people. People with proper socialization would realize that this is wrong and not be openly looting and steal without any care in the world. This is an example of lack of normal socialization.

I live like 15 minutes away from downtown and can't even go there to enjoy myself because of these scumbags. You have to call in the Army to take them out.... there's nothing else you can do. Shoot them all and make the world a safer place.

This stuff happening is a result of weak leadership and no consequences for illegal crimes.
twins? same father? how long did he stick around? was he required to pay child support?

See, you always fall back on 'they are Trump apologists' to try and discredit those you disagree with.

And that's a g-d lie.

Both males and females from fatherless homes are far more likely to commit a serious crime, I think when it comes to violent crime it is like 5 times more, this is off the top of my head.
90% of teen runaways are from......you guessed it fatherless homes.
70% of high school dropouts are from, you know.
70% of youth criminals are from fatherless homes.

Yes, but it isn't just about not having a father in the home. Unfortunately, a lot of mothers don't seem to or show they care for their kids. They are more interested in doing drugs or hanging out with their boyfriends while the kids fend for themselves. There is zero involvement in the kid's education. These kids grow up without much hope NOT BECAUSE OF WHITE PEOPLE, but because of their own mother and the things black men do to them. Until the black community stops blaming 21st century white people for their problems and starts addressing the family dysfunction, things will not change.

This same behavior has seeped into the white community as well, but it is not at the same level yet. I think white people are more likely to call this behavior out and are not afraid to shame it. It is shameful not to care for your kids. They didn't asked to be brought into this world, so give a damn.

You gonna take care of it, or are you saying you want someone else to shoot them?

Fortunately we don't have that problem in America,
We've had more protests and riots in a few months than the rest of the world combined in last 5 years, and all we see is blame-shifting. Lack of leadership......yes. Time for change in Nov.

are you back participating in the "Reality of Portland" thread you started?

I don't think anyone said all of Portland was on fire. However, 2 things are certainly true since the Feds announced turning over to the locals:

1. The riots have continued anyway, despite all the assertions that it was the Feds fault, and as soon as they stopped, the riots would stop.

2. Law-breaking crowd (riot) activity has occurred in locations more than 3 miles from the Fed building. 3 miles in 2 different directions isn't a "tiny area".
