its not like these crowds get together by word of mouth these days. Everybody uses social media, even the bad guys. They are well aware their power only exists as the power of the mob. They are not stupid, assuming they are is a big mistake. A city wide curfew after dark including shutting down all public transportation would be more effective. Might limit the ability of many to get to the areas they wish to pillage. |

They have already been trying it with mixed housing complexes for years. Doesn't work for the most part. People will never change unless they want to (ie can't force them to). |

did i say that? obviously some will know each other. Do you really think everybody in those large crowds does? Of course not, somebody comes up with the idea to hit an area puts the news out on social media and somebody in your circle of friends notices it and friends go join it together. Not my generation but i have nieces and nephews who do this type of thing to go to parties and other large social gatherings like raves. It' also the way protestors/rioters in Seattle, Portland etc. gather. Or do you think all of them know each other too? |
